Trained as an architect, Foo Fatt Chuen (popularly known as Fudge) was previously with Interior Space and GMW Partnership in London; the Design Director for Interiors at BEP Akitek; and Managing Director of Urbanworks Sdn Bhd until he started Axis Network in 1991.
Under his leadership, Axis Network Design Consultants Sdn Bhd has won numerous national and international awards including The Asia Pacific Design Awards 1998 for Hospitality Design, the prestigious Enterprise 50 Award 1999 organised by Andersen Consulting and SMIDEC, the MSID Award for Design Excellence 1998, plus several awards for design excellence from the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers.
He also guided Axis to be the first interior design firm in the country to be certified the ISO 9001 by the International Standards Organisation, and their work is widely published in local and international publications.
Fudge formed the Axis Identity Group in 2001, providing a holistic solution to Interior Design consultancy, Design and Build Services, Branding and Signage Consultancy and is the current Group Chief Executive Officer at Axis Identity Group.
He was the President of the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers (IPDM) 2000-2002 and also listed in the International edition of Who's Who in Interior Design; the International Who's Who of Professionals and is a recipient of the Louis Vuitton Tiaga Award 1997.
Fudge recently received recognition of honors from professional peers at the recent IPDM Fellowship Program 2010; paying tribute to his unwavering years of support and contributions towards the Interior Design profession.
Known for his entrepreneurial flair and resourcefulness, Robin started his enterprising journey 2003 at a young age. Building his business from scratch, he has found success in ventures such as design, advertising, digital marketing, interior design and construction.
His wide range of experience and expertise through his work with international brands like Microsoft, Google, HP and Mckinsey make him a valuable asset to the Group.
He is also the founder of 3 innovative startups in the Architecture & Interior Surface space, Fintech and Pre-fabrication construction industry. In 2016, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) awarded Robin the Certification in Discipline Entrepreneurship at the inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Program in Asia.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Design and also Furniture Design & Construction from the City & Guilds University of London. With over 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry in Malaysia, Singapore and internationally, Dave has work in and held directorship in several multinational and large design practice in the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China.
This included Managing Director of WB Plus Sdn Bhd and Reginal Director for Davenport Campbell. Dave's special focus of expertise in the field of design includes strategic facility planning, master concept design, contract administration and project management. During his career, he has been responsible for numerous large signature office commissions around Asia such as Chase Manhatten Bank, Chemical Bank, Credit Suisse, DuPont, Michelin, Acergy, Natwest Market, Singapore Stock Exchange, Pearson Education, Ogilvy & Mather to name a few. He has also designed prestiguous hospitality projects in the Asia such as Mandarin Oriental Surabaya, Hyatt Aryaduta Jakarta, Shima Bapindo Jakarta, Regent Singapore, Embassy Club Shanghai, Pine Tree Club Singapore, Hotel Kuala Selangor and BMS Medical Group in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
In Malaysia, Dave has design numerous works such as Carlsberg Malaysia, Gleneagles,E Gamuda's Kota Kemuning & Klang Botanica Development, Astro Arena, McKinsey & Co, Hakka Republic Restaurant, Elegant Inn Restaurant, Brotzeit Restaurant & Bar and also Garibaldi Restaurant & Bar. Some of his biggest projects in Malaysia include the prestigious office complex for United Malayan Land Berhad and Contraves Berhad.
Academically, he has contributed numerous articles on design in leading publications such as Trends and for the Real Estate Developer Association Singapore (Redas). He has also spoken in numerous business forums around the region. Dave is a member of the prestigious International Facility Management Associataion in United States of America.
As the Director in chrage of Design & Projects, Dave will be responsible for the overall design director, concept development and implematation of all projects.
Hendrey brings 30 years of experience in the construction industry to his work as a Commercial Director with Axis Identity Group.
He leads a team of over 25 staff fostering good quality operational standards and processes. Hendrey oversees all project and commercial life cycles. He began his career in project management in 1984 with Lian Ping Enterprise and was attached to the company for 12 years.
Hendrey's entrepreneur ambitions lead him to start his own interior design contracting firm in 2005. He then grew his knowledge and skills with prominent players such as Jalex and was appointed as General Manager for LCL Furniture in Dubai in 2009.
His industrial experience widely covers both regional and international names such as the Prime Minister's Residence, The Gardens & Boulevard Hotel, Hewlett Packard Headquarters, Phillip Wain, Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina and JT Metro - the largest and most sophisticated train station in Dubai.
As the leader for commercial team, Hendrey ensures that the overall project budget meets quality as defined and delivering the project in a timely manner.
Calvin has been in the communications industry for more than 15 years. Started his career in advertising, he comes to Axis with solid expertise in branding coupled with a strong passion for the creative process.
As the Brand Director , Calvin is responsible for setting the business direction of the division and lead the overall branding and visual communication design standards. He and his team of talented designers has provided insightful and award winning solutions for many local and international brands through the year, these include CIMB Bank, Cisco, Samsung, SDB Properties, HSBC Bank, Hilton Hotels, American International Assurance Company, O' Gourmet, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Green Packet Berhad, Mid Valley Development, Resorts World Berhad, Double Tree Hotel, The Danna, Shangri-La, The Curve, Johor Premium Outlets and The Intermark.
Jennifer joined Axis in 1995. As the head of finance & operations, her role has a number of key purposes including human resources, managing the operational finance team and the daily operations of Axis.
She is responsible in establishing, implementing the group's procedures and policies as well as determining needs, reducing costs and analyzing areas requiring improvement to maximize efficiency and boost profitability.
She also works with the management to continue building the capabilities of the group and enhancing organizational effectiveness by implementing leading-edge initiatives in the areas of recruitment, retention, training and evaluation.
