Menara Hap Seng
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Menara Hap Seng houses about 21 levels of corporate suites. Previously know as MUI Plaza, it was acquired by the client in 2004. The special highlights of the building is a stunning 3 level podium facade of alfresco dining, restaurants, retail outlets, banks as well as an auditorium and convention centre. The Hap Seng project required uncluttered wayfinding signages that allow clear pathways into the spaces.

The subsequent challenge was the high ceiling on the ground floor which proved impossible for hanging signages. The solution was to install the wayfinding signages on the main pillars and floor directory signs. Flat modular wayfinding systems with panel flex light boxes were used all across the 3 levels at Menara Hap Seng. The modular wayfinding systems extended the feature of interchangeable signs systems which gave the ability to provide highly customizable solutions for the client. The illuminated signboards can also be seen throughout the carpark area.

The strategy cultivated a good combination of clean pure lines and light that worked well with the interior theme, adding to the corporate feel at Menara Hap Seng.
